AUSTCORP are seeking experienced road workers/asphalters to join an amazing team, expanding on decades of experience delivering quality works and developing outstanding talent.
About Asphalt Work: Asphalt work is physical. You’ll be outdoors in all kinds of weather, around hot mix and heavy machines. It’s hard work but solid work – every day you’ll see what you’ve built with your own two hands. Asphalt gets used for roads, driveways, bike paths, car parks – and it takes a crew to lay it down right.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Prepping job sites: cleaning, sweeping, and getting things ready to seal and pave
- Shoveling, raking, and spreading hot mix asphalt by hand
- Operating road plant, such as pavers, rollers, skid steers, and compactors
- Working as a team to get jobs done right and on time
- Cleaning up sites and keeping equipment in shape
What We’re Looking For:
- Current MR Licence, HR/HC/MC an advantage
- Constuction Induction card
- RII / VOC's an advantage, but not required
- Reliable, trustworthy, show up on time, and work well with others
- Physically able to be on your feet, lift heavy stuff, and work in the heat
- A valid driver’s license - HR or above preferred
- Safety-minded and dependable
