About the Role
Lead with compassion in our Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit, supporting safe, recovery focused care for consumers with complex needs. Partner with the NUM to guide the team, strengthen practice and create a positive clinical environment.
Lead safe, specialist care and promote consumer recovery
Guide, support and develop nursing staff across the unit
Coordinate staffing, rosters, leave and daily work allocation
Drive practice change, quality improvement and policy development
Build strong partnerships across health services and community
About You
You’re a confident mental health nurse who brings strong clinical skills, leadership and a commitment to recovery focused care.
Registered Nurse with current Nursing and Midwifery Board certificate
Graduate Diploma equivalent qualification in mental health nursing
Experience caring for people with complex mental health needs
Experience coordinating and supporting nursing teams
Strong leadership, communication and change management skills
