Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Cafe Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our busy cafe located in the heart of the Perth CBD.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated hospitality professional who enjoys leading a team, delivering excellent customer service, and keeping a fast-paced cafe running smoothly. We are looking for someone who is confident, organised, reliable, and able to create a positive experience for both customers and staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the cafe
- Lead, train, support and motivate cafe staff
- Prepare staff rosters and manage daily staffing requirements
- Ensure high standards of customer service are consistently delivered
- Monitor stock levels, place orders and manage supplier relationships
- Oversee food safety, cleanliness, hygiene and compliance requirements
- Manage cash handling, POS procedures and end-of-day processes
- Assist with menu displays, promotions and presentation of the cafe
- Handle customer feedback and resolve issues professionally
- Support cost control, wastage reduction and efficient cafe operations
- Work closely with the owners/management team to improve systems, service and overall performance
