In this role, you'll:
Help shape customer-focused products and services by gathering insights, analysing information, and supporting the product management process. You'll work closely with stakeholders to understand customer needs, identify opportunities for improvement, and provide recommendations that help guide product priorities, decisions, and delivery.
The Product Analyst will also be responsible for:
- Collaborating with stakeholders and users to gather, document, and refine business and user requirements that support product development outcomes.
- Conducting qualitative and quantitative research, including interviews, surveys, and data analysis, to identify insights, trends, and opportunities for improvement.
- Facilitating discovery workshops, ideation sessions, and planning activities to explore challenges, validate assumptions, and support solution development and prioritisation.
- Preparing and maintaining product documentation, analysis, and key artefacts, ensuring information is accurate, accessible, and supports informed decision-making.
- Monitoring product performance through metrics, OKRs, and KPIs, providing insights that drive continuous improvement and product success.
- Supporting cross-functional collaboration, product ceremonies, and process improvement initiatives, enhancing the efficiency and consistency of product management practices.
This is an ongoing full-time position located at Parramatta.
This role can be based anywhere in New South Wales. The roles require in person attendance on particular days of the week at your local TfNSW office.

About you
You have tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience.
You’re experienced in product, business, or data analysis, ideally within a technology-focused or multidisciplinary environment.
You are a strong analytical thinker with excellent problem-solving skills and can turn complex information into clear insights and practical recommendations.
You’re skilled in user research and data analysis, using evidence and insights to support product decisions and strategy.
You are an effective communicator with strong written and verbal skills, able to create clear documentation and present findings confidently.
You’re highly organised, able to manage multiple priorities, maintain attention to detail, and meet deadlines.
You are proficient in tools such as Excel, Power BI, Jira, Confluence, Miro, or similar analytical and documentation platforms.
