We are a newly opened Italian restaurant looking for a friendly, professional, and enthusiastic Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our team.
We pride ourselves on creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere where guests can enjoy flavorsome food, attentive service, and an intimate dining experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in all daily front-of-house operations to ensure a smooth and efficient service.
- Contritbute to the training, rostering, and managing front-of-house staff to deliver warm, and professional service.
- Be hands on in service flow and table management ie greet guests, assist in taking orders & assess their satisfaction with meals and service
- Collaborate with the Head Chef and kitchen team to ensure menu consistency, quality, and dietary compliance.
- Manage reservations, guest relations, and conflict resolution with a customer-first approach.
- Assist in the organising and coordinating functions/special events to ensure they are executed seamlessly and successfully
- Oversee FOH stock control, supplier relationships, ordering, and inventory management.
- Ensuring Food Safety procedures are followed.
- Ensuring dining facilities comply with health regulations and are clean, functional and of suitable appearance
Skills & Experience
- Proficiency in English
- Proven experience as a supervisor or Assistant Manager or in a senior hospitality role.
- Strong knowledge of Italian cuisine, wine, and service etiquette.
- Exceptional leadership, communication and team management skills.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Qualifications
- Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification (required).
- Food Safety Supervisor certification (required or willing to obtain).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
