Important to note: The Bank on Collins operates primarily on weekdays and is closed on weekends unless hosting private events — offering a rare hospitality opportunity with consistent weekday hours.
We are currently seeking a Part-Time or Casual Bartender (20–38 hours per week) to join our team immediately.
This role is ideal for a hospitality professional who thrives in a fast-paced CBD environment, enjoys engaging with corporate clientele, and takes pride in delivering high-quality service and beverages.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve cocktails, beer, wine and non-alcoholic beverages to a high standard
- Provide warm, efficient and professional customer service
- Maintain a clean, organised and well-presented bar area
- Process payments accurately (POS operation and cash handling)
- Monitor and restock bar inventory
- Assist with opening and closing procedures
- Support private events when required
Skills & Requirements
- Current and valid RSA
- Strong knowledge of classic cocktails, spirits, beer and wine
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High attention to detail and presentation
- Availability across weekdays (with occasional weekend availability for private events)
