With a large & continually growing team of staff including GPs, allied health, nurses & admin, we are looking for an experienced practice manager ready for their next challenge.
Nundah Village Family Practice has recently undergone complete renovations & expansion as we prepare for the next growth phase of our clinic.
This role will offer the right person the next step in their general practice management career.
At least 2 years experience in a busy clinic taking on management or higher duties is essential.
The right candidate should have:
- Demonstrated patient-focused approach in service provision with genuine empathy and interest in their needs.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Be always well-presented, friendly, courteous and obliging. Represent the practice in a confident and positive manner at all times.
- Undertake all duties in a diligent manner, with honesty and integrity,
- Maintain absolute confidentiality regarding patient and practice information.
- Have a vigilant attitude to accuracy, being prepared to double check as necessary.
- Ability to work cooperatively and independently.
- Ability to prioritise and organise, with attention to detail.
- Extensive Best Practice knowledge (essential)
- Proven ability to manage small business/office including human resources, planning, budgeting & reporting
- Basic knowledge of MS Word and Excel and windows operating systems.
- Knowledge of Xero (or similar) & PMS software and medical equipment
- CPR/Triage training and/or experience
- Training and/or experience in management of higher duties such as emergencies, handling complaints, Medicare & health funds, basic infection control, safe handling & disposal of medical waste, cold chain, etc.
- Highly organised and efficient in time management
- Ability to work flexible hours including late nights and Saturdays
