About the Role:
We are looking for Room Attendants to join the team to help us get our newly refurbished rooms ready for guests. In this role, you'll be responsible for:
- Cleaning and servicing guest rooms to a consistent, high standard, including bathrooms, linen and amenities.
- Maintaining “Room Ready on Arrival” standards, working efficiently to meet daily targets and checklists.
- Restocking guest supplies, linen and amenities, and reporting any maintenance issues promptly.
- Handling guest belongings and hotel property with care, and following lost property procedures correctly.
- Maintaining cleanliness and presentation across corridors, public areas and back-of-house spaces.
- Working closely with Front Office and Maintenance to keep rooms turned around quickly and accurately.
- Following all workplace health and safety procedures, including safe handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
What You'll Bring
- Experience in housekeeping or a similar role is helpful but not essential; heritage building experience a bonus.
- A detail-oriented approach and pride in delivering a consistently high standard of presentation.
- Physical fitness and stamina, with the ability to stay on your feet and move throughout a shift.
- Reliability and a strong work ethic, with the ability to work efficiently to time and quality standards.
- A genuine interest in hospitality and in being part of a hotel's opening team.
- The ability to work well independently as well as part of a broader housekeeping team.
