Join our OSHC team at Helping Hands Pimpama and help create exciting, engaging, and unforgettable experiences for primary school children as a permanent part-time educator.
Whether you're a university student looking to build a career in teaching, psychology, social work or childcare, or simply seeking greater flexibility, this role is designed to fit your lifestyle. Gain valuable hands-on experience with primary school-aged children while we work around your university timetable, placements, and other commitments.
Guaranteed minimum hours: 10 hours per week

Morning Shift: 6:30am – 9:00am Monday - Friday (Rise then Shine Program)

Afternoon Shift: 2:30pm – 6:00pm Monday - Friday (Stay and Play Program)

Qualifications
Who are we looking for?
While we’re happy to provide training and guidance in the role and sector, here are a few qualities we’re looking for:

Desirable but not mandatory: Working towards or completed a relevant qualification to work as a 1 or 2 Year Qualified Educator in QLD in accordance with ACECQA

National Child Safety Training completion prior to onboarding (via Gecko).

A genuine love for working with children.

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

A team player with aspirations to take on leadership opportunities.

Hold or be willing to obtain a national police check (which we will cover!) and a state working-with-children check.

Must have valid Australian work rights.
