Office All Rounder / Assistant required for a small friendly office on the lower north shore of Sydney.
This is a full time in-office job Mon-Fri with availability on the phone occasionally after hours required. Office is small and you would need to be happy to be alone in the office some days.
The position would entail assisting with all sorts of odd jobs, reading and responding to email, answering and screening phone calls, updating and organising digital and paper files, preparing reports, providing updates to the boss daily. Assist with accounts and any other general office work. The ability to read and understand documents and highlight important matters is essential.
You must be competent on Excel, Word, and Outlook, be able to put a Powerpoint together, be able to jump in and 'self teach' for varied items and provide support on many varied projects, both business and personal.
You should be able to 'think on your feet', be practical and have good common sense. Days would be varied and you could be asked to do a multitude of things from opening mail to taking a car in for service. This most certainly is not a typical PA or office type job. You must have a current drivers licence for running errands around Sydney and suburbs.
You would need previous experience working consistently in an office for a minimum of 2 years, with experience as a PA an advantage. Office experience is essential as you will need to be self-motivated and self-directed, and be a good problem solver. Some accounts experience would be valuable but not essential as long as you are happy to learn on the job and get the work done.
An attractive salary would be negotiated for the right person.
