Peninsula Leisure is seeking experienced and motivated Duty Managers to support the operation of our award-winning facilities, PARC and PINES. Offering $43-$45 per hour (inclusive of casual loading) plus 12% super, flexible shifts, complimentary facility access and a central Frankston location, this is an exciting opportunity to lead teams, deliver exceptional customer experiences and make a positive impact within our community.

Peninsula Leisure (PL), a wholly owned subsidiary of Frankston City Council, is an industry leading organisation focused on reimagining community health and wellbeing experiences, currently through the management of Peninsula Aquatic Recreation Centre (PARC) and The Pines Forest Aquatic Centre (Pines), Frankston Skate Park and The Centenary Park Golf Course.

Responsibilities of this role include:
- Ensuring compliance with Public Health and Wellbeing Regulations and GSPO requirements
- Delivering exceptional customer experiences by effectively addressing member and guest enquiries and concerns
- Monitoring and enforcing safety, operational and risk management procedures
- Providing leadership and support to staff across all departments
- Mentoring, coaching and developing team members to achieve high-performance standards
- Coordinating daily operations to ensure seamless service delivery
- Responding to emergency situations, including aquatic rescues, first aid incidents, major emergencies and centre evacuations
- Supporting a positive workplace culture aligned with Peninsula Leisure's values and service standards
The remuneration for this position is aligned with Level 7 of the Fitness Industry Award.
Key qualities we are looking for:
- Proven leadership experience with the ability to lead by example and motivate others
- Strong knowledge of the Guidelines for Safe Pool Operations (GSPO) and plant room operations
- A genuine commitment to delivering outstanding customer service
- Sound judgement and the ability to remain calm under pressure
- Strong understanding of risk management and occupational health and safety practices within a leisure centre environment
- Excellent organisational, time management and administrative skills
- The ability to embody and promote Peninsula Leisure's values in all aspects of their work
Key Selection Criteria
Essential:
- SISSS00133 Pool Lifeguard Certificate (Victoria)
- HLTAID011 Provide First Aid Certificate
- Current Working With Children Check
Desirable:
- Aquatic Technical Operator Certificate
- Chief Fire Warden Training
- HLTAID014 Provide Advanced First Aid
Employment is subject to:
- A satisfactory National Police Check
- A current Employee Working With Children Check
