This Administration Officer role offers an exciting opportunity to play a key part in supporting our dynamic Civil Operations team. Working within Support Services, you will provide administrative and customer service support across a range of operational functions, helping to ensure the efficient delivery of services to the community.
We're looking for a well-rounded administration professional with exceptional customer service skills and the confidence to support operational teams, supervisors and senior staff. In this varied role, you'll manage customer and work requests, create work orders and inspections, maintain accurate records and provide day-to-day administrative support.
You will act as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, use sound judgement when responding to enquiries and contribute to the smooth running of a busy and customer-focused environment. This position requires the completion of a satisfactory Criminal History Check - Police Certificate (Australia Wide Name Only Police Check).
What we are looking for
- Strong administrative skills with experience in data entry, record keeping and general office support.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Highly organised with strong time management skills and the ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive team player who demonstrates initiative, sound judgement, adaptability and a commitment to continuous improvement.
- Experience coordinating customer requests, work orders, records management or operational administration processes within a busy team environment would be highly regarded.
