Kalyra Retirement Living properties are in the enviable locations of Belair, Bellevue Heights, Woodside and McLaren Vale. All our villages are in tranquil locations, taking advantage of their beautiful surroundings. As the Retirement Living Consultant, you will be responsible for the sales of retirement living units across Kalyra Retirement Villages and to ensure the journey of all prospective residents moving into the Village is a positive experience.
About the Role
Kalyra is a trusted, values-driven organisation dedicated to supporting older Australians to live fulfilling, independent lives within their communities. As a Retirement Living Consultant, you will play a key role in building strong relationships with prospective residents, their families, community partners and key stakeholders. You will drive sales outcomes by achieving agreed targets, maximising revenue and supporting the ongoing growth of Kalyra Retirement Living. With a strong focus on customer experience, you will guide residents and their representatives through the transition process with care, clarity and professionalism, while monitoring sales activity and providing regular progress reporting against monthly targets.

Key Responsibilities
As a valued member of our Kalyra Neighbourhood Living team in Belair, as Retirement Living Consultant you will:
- Actively engage prospective residents to build and maintain relationships with them.
- Organise and host sales events and promotional activities in line with the Kalyra corporate marketing strategy.
- Attend events and activities, promoting Kalyra Retirement Living.
- Manage the enquiries database, collate client feedback for future demand and record responses from promotional activities and campaigns.
- Achieve annual villa turnover and sales targets, within agreed timeframes.
- Accurately represent the contract terms for outgoing residents.
- Ensure outgoing residents’ entitlements are applied in keeping with legislation and Kalyra policy.
- Support residents and family / representatives to fully understand the vacation and outgoing residents’ process.
- Collaborate with the broader Kalyra team to progress the outgoing residents within agreed timelines.
- Provide regular feedback to the Director Neighbourhood Living.
- Meet the legislated reporting requirement for outgoing residents.
- Complete administrative tasks, with in Kalyra process and legislative requirements.
Experience, Skills & Knowledge
We’re looking for someone who brings:
- Ability to engage with the community and residents to generate and convert quality leads to achieve sales targets.
- Proven experience in a similar sales role in a retirement living setting (preferred but not essential).
- Ability to engage and have empathy with people who are making a significant decision in life.
- Experience in working in environments where confidentiality must be applied and maintained.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong negotiation and influencing ability.
- Ability to determine priorities, organise workloads and meet strict timeframes.
- Knowledge of legislative requirements within a retirement village environment.
- Knowledge of Work Health Safety Act and regulations and their application in the workplace.
- Current SA driver’s licence.
- Flexibility for occasional weekend work will be required.
