Early Childhood Sports Instructor – School Hours
10–20 hours per week | Monday–Friday | Flexible days
Ready Steady Go Kids is Australia's largest multi-sport and exercise program for preschool children aged 1.5–6 years. Our physio-designed program introduces children to the fundamentals of 10 different sports while developing confidence, coordination, teamwork and a lifelong love of physical activity.
We're looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and energetic Early Childhood Sports Instructor to deliver our program at local Early Learning Centres and Preschools.
About the Role
You'll travel between local centres delivering structured, engaging multi-sport classes to children aged 1.5–6 years. Areas are varied, North Ryde, Lane Cove, Chatswood, Castle Hill, Hornsby.
The role is approximately 10–20 hours per week during school hours, with morning and/or afternoon shifts available. There is flexibility on days for the right person and classes run during school terms only.

About You
We're looking for someone who genuinely loves working with young children and has experience with children aged 1.5–6 years.
You'll need to be:
- Confident leading and engaging groups of young children
- Energetic, enthusiastic and reliable
- Organised and comfortable working independently
- Professional and confident communicating with Early Learning Centre staff
- Passionate about children's development and physical activity
You'll also need your own reliable car as you'll travel between centres, and a current Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain one).
And most importantly...
You need to be able to roar like a tiger, fly like a fairy and stomp like a dinosaur!
The ability to sing loud and proud is also a bonus... it definitely doesn't have to be in tune!
This role could be perfect for an Early Childhood Educator, teacher, children's activity instructor, personal trainer, teaching/exercise science student, or a mum or dad returning to the workforce looking for rewarding school-hour work.
