Located at the Adelaide City Campus of TAFE SA, the Centre of Excellence exists to strengthen the Early Childhood Education and Care sector nationwide by collaborating with stakeholders on practical, transformative initiatives to address qualification and skills gaps, ensuring the sector meets current and future needs for lasting generational impact throughout Australia.
What You’ll Drive
The Program Manager is responsible for leading and managing a complex portfolio of significant multi-functional TAFE Centre of Excellence projects and programs to achieve agreed business outcomes within budget and schedule. The position oversees the planning, design, prioritisation, allocation and negotiation of project resources across the Centre of Excellence team and is accountable for the delivery, monitoring, evaluation and reporting of program outcomes within an established governance framework.
The Skills You Bring
- Lead and manage complex strategic project and program portfolios, including planning, governance, stakeholder engagement, reporting, resource allocation and delivery of organisational outcomes.
- Build and lead high-performing multidisciplinary teams to deliver complex, sensitive and high-impact projects within budget and timeframe, while managing contracts, competing priorities and significant risks.
- Apply advanced judgement, communication and strategic influence to provide authoritative advice, negotiate with senior stakeholders, resolve complex issues, and strengthen networks, quality practices and sector outcomes.
What You Need to Know
A valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) issued by the South Australian Department of Human Services is required before employment.
