Position Overview:
We are looking for a skilled and a reliable Mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out vehicle servicing, maintenance, repairs, and inspections to ensure all vehicles operate safely and efficiently while meeting required performance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
As part of this role, you will be responsible for undertaking the following duties;
· General servicing - carrying out all service types to all major vehicle makes
· Diagnostics – using diagnostic equipment to determine faults and solve problems
· General fault finding, repair and replacement parts covering electronics and batteries, clutch and final drives, petrol/diesel fuel injection systems, steering and suspension, engines and cooling systems
· Brake work – Carrying out all brake work repairs including advising customers of the safety condition of their brakes
· Tyres – Tyre fitting and balancing, wheel alignment and carrying out checks for customers and advising on condition
· Scheduling vehicles for servicing using in house scheduling database
· Dealing with customer queries
· Preparing quotes for work required as per report
· Perform major repairs and engine rebuilds
- Work efficiently to meet timeframes and maintain high-quality standards
- Communicate with customers regarding their vehicle's issues and necessary repairs
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Stay up to date with the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques
Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in light vehicle motor mechanics
- A relevant trade qualification, Certificate III or Certificate IV in Automotive Mechanical Technology
- Motor Mechanic Trade License (essential)
- Strong knowledge of vehicle systems and repair techniques
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills
- Good communication skills and customer service experience
- Valid driver's license

Salary: $76,000- $80,000 /year + Super
Pay: $76,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
