Senior Accounts Payable Officer
As a key member of the Finance team, you will primarily manage accounts payable activities across Fresh Hope Communities, including processing supplier invoices and payments, reconciling supplier accounts, administering accounts payable systems, and supporting month-end financial processes.

Your Contribution
- Process supplier invoices and review transactions to ensure correct entry and coding

Create, maintain and reconcile vendor accounts

Monitor and administer the accounts payable automation system, including invoice approvals and workflow management

Process supplier payments in accordance with terms of trade and distribute remittances

Reconcile supplier accounts and supplier statements

Process and manage corporate credit card transactions and approvals

Assist with month-end activities, including journals and invoice processing deadlines

Liaise with suppliers, managers and stakeholders to resolve accounts payable queries and issues

Identify and implement improvements to accounts payable processes, compliance and efficiency
The Essentials
- Minimum 6 years' experience in accounts payable within a medium to large organisation processing a high volume of transactions

Previous experience using accounting and accounts payable automation systems, with intermediate Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook skills

Demonstrated ability to process accounts payable transactions accurately within agreed deadlines

Strong organisational, time management and reconciliation skills, with excellent attention to detail

Superior communication, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills

Ability to work independently, take initiative and contribute as an enthusiastic team player

Excellent customer service skills and experience working in a highly regulated environment

Willing and able to work within a Christian context and in line with Fresh Hope Communities' mission and values

National Criminal History Check suitable for aged care (or willingness to obtain) and ability to undertake a role with moderate physical requirements
