Legends Dental is a modern, patient-centred dental practice in Gregory Hills, one of Sydney's fastest-growing communities. As we continue to grow, we're looking for a friendly and organised Dental Receptionist to be the face of our practice.
The Role
This is a part-time position with flexible days, ideally suited to someone who loves connecting with people. You will be the first and last impression our patients have — so a positive attitude and genuine warmth are just as important as your admin skills.
Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Welcoming patients and managing the front desk with a warm, professional manner
- Scheduling and confirming appointments via our practice management software
- Managing incoming calls, emails, and patient enquiries
- Processing payments, health fund claims, and invoicing
- Maintaining accurate patient records and data entry
- Coordinating with the clinical team to ensure the day runs smoothly
- General administration and practice support as needed
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- Previous experience in a medical or dental reception role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organisational skills with high attention to detail
- Confident using computers and practice management software
- Professional, caring, and patient-focused approach
- Reliable, punctual, and a genuine team player
Highly Regarded:
- Experience with D4W / Centaur dental software
- Knowledge of Medicare, DVA, or private health fund processing
- Familiarity with the Child Dental Benefits Schedule (CDBS)
- Dental assisting experience or understanding of infection control protocols
