4me gluten free is a specialized gluten free, dairy free and nut free bakery with an extensive range of delicious savoury and dessert items available.
We are seeking a a range of reliable full time, part time and casual pastry chefs to join our small and dedicated team to assist in the production of quality baking products, which entails creating, making, decorating, and finishing cakes/desserts. This role requires creative thinking for new recipes and the latest trends while maintaining our current range. The role will be day shifts and/or afternoon shifts from Monday through to Friday and on Sundays. Flexible 5 day shifts available.
Suitable candidates should be able to demonstrate:
Certificate III in patisseries or equivalent
Develop and decorate speciality cakes and baked goods
- Experience as a pastry chef role or a similar position is preferred (2+ years), who can balance a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining great attention to detail.
- Good knowledge and experience of different types of pastries, desserts, mousses and cake decorating and glazing.
- Assist in stock control by monitoring ingredient requirements and wastage.
- A flexible, adaptable, and hands-on approach
- Demonstrate a strong initiative and ability to work autonomously and in a team environment
- Strong work ethic and organizational skills
Pay: $70,000.00 – $82,000.00 per year
