GLOBAL CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER
ASX‑Listed Global Health Technology Company | Growth Phase
Austco Healthcare is an ASX‑listed global health technology company delivering clinical communications systems into hospitals and aged care facilities across more than 60 countries.
The business is growing, acquiring, and evolving its global footprint. What has historically worked through strong regional execution, now needs to operate as a cohesive, scalable global platform.
That’s why we’ve created a Global Chief Operating Officer role.
ANZ will be your immediate priority with a focus on integrating recently acquired businesses into an aligned operating model. However, from day one this is a global remit spanning North America, the UK, Singapore and Canada.
The challenge
This is a role for someone who understands that growth brings complexity, and knows how to resolve it.
Austco operates in regulated clinical environments, delivers complex installations, and supports mission‑critical systems where execution matters. The business has deep regional expertise, experienced teams and strong customer relationships, but scale now demands greater alignment, consistency and operational discipline.
The opportunity is not to rebuild the business. It’s to connect it, simplify it, and make it work better as one.
Commercial impact
This is a COO role with direct impact on revenue performance.
While the role does not directly lead sales, it owns the operating disciplines that determine whether revenue is won profitably and delivered successfully. Pricing integrity, bid governance, delivery readiness and execution certainty all sit within this remit.
The expectation is clear: sales commitments must be operationally executable, margins must be protected, and backlog must convert.
The role
As Global COO, you sit at the centre of the business, connecting commercial ambition with operational reality.
You will:
Build and embed a single global operating model
Integrate ANZ acquisitions into a unified, high‑performing platform
Align sales, delivery and commissioning so commitments and execution match
Bring rigour to bid governance, pricing and delivery discipline
Improve margin performance and backlog conversion without compromising quality
Create cadence, accountability and consistency across regions
This is a role for someone who knows how to scale, not by imposing bureaucracy, but by setting clear expectations, simple structures and strong operating rhythm.
Who this suits
This role requires judgement, influence and pace.
You are an experienced, commercially minded operator who has done this before. You’re comfortable leading complex, multi‑region operations, influencing senior leaders who know their markets well, and operating in environments where outcomes really matter.
You bring structure and momentum, but you know when to listen, when to push, and when to let local expertise lead.
Why this role stands out
A true global COO role with meaningful scope
An ASX‑listed business with momentum and ambition
The opportunity to shape how a company operates as it scales internationally
Complexity, challenge and impact, not a maintenance remit
Highly competitive total remuneration package
If you’re looking for a role where you can genuinely shape the operating future of a growing global business, this one deserves a conversation.
