We're looking for an organised, detail oriented Admin & People Coordinator to join us. It is approximately 24 hours a week, but may vary time to time. We are flexible and will make it work for the right applicant You primarily sit across two areas, HR and recruitment administration, and accounts payable support, but you may support other business areas including social media (sampling new product ranges also comes with the job!). You will report directly to our Head of Business.
It's a foundational roles for a true generalist: some of it is process-driven and detail-heavy, some of it is fast-moving and people focused. If you find satisfaction in setting up processes, keeping things in order and moving things forward, this will suit you.
What You'll Be Doing
People & Recruitment
- Post and manage job ads across Seek, Indeed, and social platforms
- Screen applications and coordinate interview and trial scheduling
- Prepare offer letters, contracts, and onboarding documentation
- Set up new starters in Deputy, Xero Payroll, and internal systems
- Maintain employee records and compliance documentation
Accounts Payable Support
- Input and code supplier invoices in Xero
- Reconcile bank and credit card feeds
- Follow up outstanding supplier documentation and statements
- Support the finance lead with month-end admin tasks
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years in an admin, office coordinator, or people operations role
- Comfortable in Xero or similar accounting software
- Experience with HR admin or scheduling systems (Deputy a bonus!)
- Someone who takes ownership without needing to be followed up
- Hospitality experience a plus, but not a requirement.
- Above all, someone who connects with our values and genuinely C·A·R·Es (Customer-obsessed, Awareness, Respectful, Eye for Detail).
The Role
- 24 hours per week - we're open to discussing how those hours are structured across the week
- Hybrid work may be available, and our office is in Cammeray
- Competitive salary, commensurate with experience (pro rata)
