Description:
This role plays a critical part in ensuring compliance, capability, and continuous improvement across our Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) systems in FM projects. Reporting to the HSET Manager, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training and assessment, maintaining compliance with ISO standards, and supporting the effective implementation of Eastern Guruma’s Management Systems.
Key Responsibilities
Provide leadership and expert advice to FM sites management on HSEQ training and assessment processes and systems.
Deliver and assess workplace training for operators and maintenance personnel in line with statutory and organisational requirements.
Ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015, ISO 45001:2018, and ISO 14001:2016 Management Systems.
Conduct site training and assessment audits and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Maintain accurate, up-to-date training and assessment records, ensuring privacy and confidentiality.
Manage document and version control of site safety and training materials, ensuring alignment with legislative requirements.
Liaise with client stakeholders to manage critical interfaces between client procedures and Eastern Guruma Management Systems.
Contribute to the review and improvement of training and assessment processes and procedures.
Prepare and deliver daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly training reports, including inputs for Management Review meetings.
Participate in site meetings including pre-starts, toolbox talks, HSE meetings, and management system reviews.
Ensure all hazards, incidents, and non-conformances are reported and addressed promptly in line with company procedures.
Promote and communicate HSEQ policies, procedures, and best practices across the site
Skills and Experiences:
About You
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116 or equivalent) – essential.
Demonstrated experience in HSE training within Facility Management services in mining industry.
Strong knowledge of WHS legislation and ISO Management Systems (ISO 9001, ISO 45001, ISO 14001).
Experience in auditing, compliance, and document control systems.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Strong organisational and reporting skills with high attention to detail.
Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced site environment
