About the Role
As a Dental Therapist, you will play a key role in promoting oral health and delivering high-quality preventive and periodontal care to our patients. You will work alongside a supportive team of dentists, specialists, dental assistants, and practice managers in a modern clinical environment.
Position Summary
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Dental Therapist to join our clinical team. The role involves the delivery of preventive and restorative dental care, with an emphasis on oral health promotion and patient education, particularly for children and young adults, in line with professional standards.
Key Responsibilities
· Provide preventive dental care, including cleaning, fluoride treatment, and fissure sealants
· Perform basic restorative procedures within the scope of a Dental Therapist
· Conduct oral assessments and identify dental issues
· Educate patients and families on oral hygiene and preventive care
· Take dental radiographs in accordance with safety standards
· Maintain accurate patient records and treatment plans
· Work under the general supervision of a registered Dentist
· Follow infection control and workplace safety procedures
Requirements
- Relevant qualification in Dental Therapy or Oral Health Therapy (Bachelor Degree or higher)
- Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Minimum 2–3 years of relevant clinical experience (preferred)
- Strong clinical skills within the dental therapist scope of practice
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment
- Understanding of infection control standards and dental regulations in Australia
Position Details
Job Types: Full Time / Permanent
Expected Hours: 38 hours per week

Salary :
- $90,000 - $130,000 (plus superannuation)
