About the opportunity
This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build their accounting career while gaining experience across a broad range of finance activities.
You'll work alongside an experienced and supportive Finance team and have exposure to accounting across both our Australian and New Zealand businesses.
There's plenty of variety. You'll contribute to:

Month-end processes including reconciliations, allocations and recharges

Bank reconciliations
-
Accruals, prepayments and journals
-
Year-end processes and external audits
-
Occasional support of the Accounts Payable and Receivable team

Supporting our centre teams with accounting and customer account queries

Other Finance team activities where you can learn, contribute and build your experience
About you
You don't need to know everything on day one. We're looking for someone with a good foundation in accounting who enjoys learning, solving problems and working with others.
What you will bring:

Practical accounting or finance experience of 2 years or more.

A relevant accounting degree

CA/CPA qualifications, or be working towards them
-
Good attention to detail and organisation
-
Confidence using Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
-
Experience with WORKDAY would be viewed favourably.

Clear written and verbal communication skills
-
An ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines
-
A willingness to ask questions, learn and apply that learning to new situations
-
A collaborative approach and willingness to support others
