About the Role
Working closely with the Public Health Team, you will provide day-to-day administrative and logistical support to help our programs run smoothly.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating meetings, taking minutes and distributing information.
- Assisting with the organisation of workshops, conferences, professional development and other Public Health activities.
- Supporting routine social media activities and newsletters.
- Monitoring and restocking health promotion resources and program assets.
- Maintaining administrative logs, process documents and monitoring and evaluation databases.
- Monitoring the Public Health inbox and calendar.
- Working closely with the Senior Administrative Officer to ensure administration tasks are completed on time.
Successful applicants will have access to a range of benefits, including:
- Competitive salary of $77,642 – $83,793 per annum pro rata + 12% superannuation
- Ability to Salary Package up to $15,900pa plus a further $2,650pa on Meals and Entertainment
6 weeks of annual leave with 17.5% leave loading

About You
We are looking for someone who has:
- Strong administration and organisational skills.
- The ability to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience working independently as well as part of a team.
- Confidence using Microsoft Office and other computer systems.
- The ability to communicate effectively in a cross-cultural environment.
- An understanding of and commitment to Yolŋu self-determination and the challenges faced by Yolŋu living in remote communities.
- A current Australian Driver’s Licence.
A Certificate III in Business Administration or equivalent, and the ability to speak an Aboriginal language from East Arnhem Land and/or knowledge of kinship systems, would be highly regarded.
