As our Meaning Engagement Lead, you will champion regular and ad-hoc activities that enable residents to experience meaningful and holistic wellbeing tailored to them.
Your “coach like” approach will support the staff to plan activities and implement wellbeing initiatives that promotes their quality of life and that connects community groups and volunteers to the resident community. Our leadership team will empower you to get to really know our residents, understand what will make a difference and think outside the box to try something new and impactful.

Your Contribution
- Support the leadership team to implement approaches and interventions that promote holistic person-centred wellbeing for residents

Ensure effective implementation of person-centred programs/initiatives that have been developed by the Care teams

Monitor and track the progress of person-centered wellbeing programs

Ensure care staff are supported to set up spaces that provide residents with purpose, whilst enabling choice and dignity

Provide mentoring to staff, residents and their families to promote belonging, wellbeing, and values alignment

Ensure effective planning, budget management, execution, and cleanup of events and activities alongside relevant teams
Establish effective working relationships with local community groups that align with the Fresh Hope service goals, and provide social and care services to residents

The Essentials
With a passion for supporting others to aged well, you will have:
- Relevant qualification and experience leading wellbeing approaches for patients or residents in a healthcare setting

Aptitude to learn and work within the framework of the Aged Care Standards and Accreditation

Demonstrated leadership skills to manage, coach and engage a team to perform at their best

A collaborative, emphatic, energetic and proactive with a can-do outgoing attitude

Adept at conflict resolution and able to find common ground within a range of stakeholders

Possess a current NDIS Worker Check or Criminal History Check suitable for aged care

Able to undertake a role with moderate physical requirements.
