About Your Role
As a Clinical Nurse within the Kidney Dialysis Unit, you'll provide advanced specialist nursing care for patients receiving maintenance haemodialysis while leading clinical practice within a highly skilled multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver advanced specialist haemodialysis nursing care
Lead clinical decision-making for patients with complex renal needs
Coordinate patient care using evidence-based practice
Provide leadership and support to nursing staff across each shift
Mentor, supervise and develop nurses and students
Participate in quality improvement, clinical audits and research
Support service planning, change management and innovation
About You
You are an experienced renal nurse who is passionate about delivering exceptional person-centred care and supporting others to achieve their best.
Skills & Experience
Advanced experience in nephrology and haemodialysis nursing
Excellent clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Proven leadership and team coordination experience
Ability to manage complex patient care and changing priorities
Experience mentoring, educating and supporting nursing staff
Strong communication and multidisciplinary collaboration skills
Commitment to evidence-based practice and patient-centred care

Redlands Satellite Health Centre, Talwalpin Milbul:
The satellite health centre is also known as Talwalpin Milbul, a name chosen by the Redlands Coast community and local Traditional Owners and Elders. It means 'Redland Bay alive/active' in Jandai language.
The satellite health centre treats minor illnesses and injuries that aren't life-threatening, and we also have diagnostic services for patients having treatment, including ultrasound, X-ray and pathology.
