At Trinity Petroleum Services, we supply fuel, lubricants and convenience services across North Queensland through a diverse and fast-moving network of businesses. We’re on the lookout for an experienced and motivated Accounts Payable Officer to join our Finance & Administration team in Cairns.

Your Day-to-Day
In this role, you’ll help keep our accounts payable function running smoothly across the business by:
- Processing supplier invoices, purchase orders and delivery dockets
- Managing payment runs and ensuring invoices are processed on time
- Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies
- Monitoring invoice approvals and GL coding accuracy
- Maintaining supplier accounts and database integrity
- Assisting with monthly lubricant account reconciliations
- Handling supplier enquiries via phone and email
- Supporting reporting, filing and process improvements
- Working closely with the Finance & Administration team to meet deadlines
What You'll Bring to the Table
You’ll be organised, proactive and confident working with numbers, systems and competing priorities.
You’ll bring:
- Previous Accounts Payable experience (2+ years preferred)
- Strong reconciliation and problem-solving skills
- Intermediate Excel skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
- A positive, team-focused attitude
- Professionalism and discretion with confidential information
