We always tailor the services that are required to suit out clients’ needs and continue to offer flexible services that exceed the industry standards of those currently available in Melbourne.
We are looking for workers in the below areas (staff must be located local to these areas)
We are looking for applicants who are friendly, compassionate, reliable, and enthusiastic.
We have shifts starting from 2 hrs up to 8 hrs a day which will require travelling between clients. (Applicants must be comfortable with short shifts)
Below are the requirements (non-negotiable) for these positions:
- Must have experience in Aged care or Disability care (community care experience will be highly regarded)
- Must hold a Certificate III or IV in Aged Care, Disability Care, or Individual Support (must be Australian qualifications, Nursing students who have completed their Aged Care placements will be considered)
- Current manual handling certificate (must be less than 2 years old)
- Current police check (must have been completed within the last 3 months)
- A current driver’s license and a comprehensively insured, reliable vehicle
- NDIS screening check
- A current HLTAID003 First Aid certificate
- Current HLTAID001 CPR certificate
Primary responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following:
- Domestic assistance (Light housework duties)
- Personal care assistance
- Companionship
- Transportation to appointments
- Monitoring Clients Well-being
- Meal Preparation
English as a second language applicants (who have a basic understanding of English in speech and comprehension) are also highly regarded and encouraged to apply as we have many clients from cultural and linguistically diverse backgrounds.
We currently have a current need for applicants who can additionally speak any of the following languages: Bosnian, Greek, Italian, German, Russian, Arabic, Dari, Pashto, Maltese, Hindi, Tamil, Sinhalese and Nepali.
