We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Disability Support Worker to join our team. In this role, you will provide high-quality, person-centered care to individuals with disabilities, promoting their independence, well-being, and inclusion in the community. Key Responsibilities:
- Personal Care & Daily Living:
- Assist clients with personal hygiene, dressing, grooming, and medication administration.
- Support clients in daily activities such as meal preparation, housekeeping, and mobility.
- Client Support & Development:
- Implement and monitor individualized care plans tailored to each client’s needs.
- Encourage participation in community activities and social interactions to foster independence and inclusion.
- Health & Safety:
- Provide first-aid and respond promptly to emergencies, ensuring a safe environment for all clients.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of client progress, incidents, and care provided.
- Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with healthcare professionals, family members, and community organizations to ensure holistic support.
- Participate in regular team meetings and training sessions to enhance skills and share best practices.
- Transportation & Mobility Support:
- Assist with transportation to appointments, community events, and social engagements when required.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience:
- Previous experience in a similar role, particularly within disability or community support settings, is preferred.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a client-focused approach.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
