If you're the type of person who can't help analysing search results, spots ranking opportunities everywhere, and gets excited about turning traffic into bookings, keep reading. We're looking for a Search Manager to join our Marketing team on a 12-month maternity leave contract and take ownership of our search strategy across SEO and SEM. This is a rare opportunity to lead search for one of Australia's most loved tourism and holiday brands, helping millions of travellers discover unforgettable destinations, holiday parks, resorts and experiences across the country.
You'll be the strategic mind behind organic growth, paid search performance and emerging AI-driven search opportunities. Working closely with our Growth Marketing team, Digital team and agency partners, you'll shape how customers find us, engage with us and ultimately book with us.
What you will do:

Lead the end-to-end search strategy across SEO, SEM and local search.

Drive growth in organic visibility, qualified traffic and bookings.

Partner with our paid performance agency to maximise SEM performance and ROI.

Identify opportunities to improve rankings, search visibility and demand capture.

Use data and insights to uncover opportunities and influence business decisions.

Guide content priorities and SEO initiatives through your direct report, our Content Coordinator.

Collaborate with digital, web, revenue and marketing teams to optimise landing pages, website performance and customer journeys.

Explore and leverage emerging AI search trends, tools and opportunities to keep us ahead of the curve.
What you will bring:
You're equal parts strategist and analyst. You love digging into data, identifying opportunities and building a clear roadmap for growth. You'll bring:

Strong experience in SEO, SEM or performance marketing.

A proven ability to improve search performance and commercial outcomes.

Deep understanding of SEO, with solid SEM knowledge and the confidence to guide agency partners.

Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate complex performance data into actionable recommendations.

Experience using tools such as Google Search Console, Google Ads, GA4, Semrush, Ahrefs and Looker Studio.

A curious mindset and passion for staying ahead of search trends, including AI-driven search.

Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills.
Bonus Points For

Experience in tourism, travel, accommodation, ecommerce or multi-location brands.

Exposure to AI-assisted search, GEO, AEO or AI Overviews.

Experience managing content or SEO-focused team members.
