Position Title: Clinical Nurse Educator (3 days/week) and Clinical Nurse Specialist (2
days/week) in Orthopaedic/General Surgical ward - Hybrid position

Terms: Full Time (CNE 0.6, CNS 0.4)
Remuneration: WPH Nurses and Midwives Enterprise Agreement 2025

We are looking for a nurse experienced as a Clinical Nurse Educator and Clinical Nurse Specialist to
work at Wyvern Private Hospital in the Orthopaedic/General Surgery ward. We are looking to offer
a full time contract comprising of 3 days/week as a CNE and 2 days/week for as a CNS to the right
candidate. This role will see you working in the Education team and within the greater hospital
multidisciplinary clinical healthcare team to support the education and clinical needs of the
Orthopaedic/General surgery ward. Imperative to your success in this role will be delivering
exceptional education and clinical outcomes.

2. KEY REQUIREMENTS
- A minimum of five (5) years clinical experience in Orthopaedic/General Surgical nursing
- A minimum of three (3) years' experience as a clinical educator in Orthopaedic/General
Surgical nursing
- Post graduate registration in Orthopaedic/General Surgical nursing and or Education
- A certificate IV in Training and Assessment or working towards
- Demonstrated clinical leadership with advanced clinical skills
- Ability to deliver clinical support in Orthopaedic/General Surgical nursing, nursing education
programs and training and assessment to clinical nurses
- A genuine passion to educate clinical staff
- A strong familiarity with NSQHS standards, other industry standards and the accreditation
process
