Broadbeach Family Practice is seeking a friendly, reliable, and professional Medical Receptionist to join our team on a casual basis, with the opportunity to transition into a permanent role for the right candidate. We are an AGPAL-accredited, private billing family practice located in Broadbeach on the Gold Coast.
As the first point of contact for our patients, you will help create a welcoming, supportive, and efficient front-desk experience while assisting with the smooth day-to-day running of the practice.
Responsibilities
- Greet patients and manage appointment bookings.
- Answer incoming phone calls and respond to patient enquiries.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records using Best Practice software.
- Process payments and assist with billing and accounts.
- Support the Practice Manager with general administrative duties.
- Assist the clinical team with day-to-day administrative tasks.
About You
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Friendly, professional, and patient-focused customer service approach.
- Confident using computers and able to learn new systems quickly.
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
- Positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn.
Experience
- No prior medical reception experience required; full training will be provided.
- Experience in reception, administration, or customer service is highly regarded.
- Best Practice experience is an advantage.
