As a Travel Consultant, you'll play an important role in supporting our people across Australia and New Zealand by delivering efficient, compliant and cost-effective travel solutions. Working within the Travel and Events team, you'll coordinate travel arrangements while providing exceptional customer support and ensuring compliance with travel policies and processes. You'll also contribute to reconciliation activities and help continuously improve the travel experience for our customers. This is a varied role that combines travel expertise, administration and stakeholder engagement.
As a Travel Consultant in the Travel and Events team, you’ll make a positive impact by:

Coordinating domestic and international travel bookings across air, accommodation and car hire

Managing travel requests and approvals in line with company travel policies and procedures
-
Providing advice and support to travellers to achieve cost-effective travel outcomes
-
Issuing accurate tickets, travel documentation and processing fare changes or reissues
-
Assisting with hotel reconciliation processes and related month-end activities
-
Supporting users with travel systems and self-booking tools while resolving travel-related enquiries
You could be a great fit if you have:

Experience working in a corporate travel consulting or travel coordination role
-
Strong knowledge of SABRE GDS and travel booking processes
-
Experience managing BSP processes, including BSP Link, airline ticketing, refunds and ADM handling
-
Experience with airfare ticketing, fare rules, reissues and travel documentation
-
Experience managing complex itineraries and airfare ticketing
-
Excellent customer service skills with a proactive and solutions-focused approach
-
High attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities effectively
-
Strong communication skills and confidence building relationships with stakeholders at all levels
