The Print HQ is a growing custom printing and embroidery business specialising in custom apparel, embroidery, heat press, DTF, screen printing and live event activations. We’re looking for a Warehouse Assistant to join our team.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who is organised, reliable and eager to learn. No previous experience in printing or embroidery is required — we’re happy to train the right person.
The Role As a Warehouse Assistant, you’ll be involved in the day-to-day running of our production and warehouse operations. You’ll work across order management, picking and packing, shipping, heat pressing, embroidery and general production. You’ll learn how our products are produced from start to finish and become an important part of the production team.
Key Responsibilities
- Picking and preparing garments and products for customer orders
- Packing and dispatching orders
- Organising courier collections and deliveries
- Receiving and checking incoming stock
- Maintaining an organised and clean warehouse - Assisting with stock counts and inventory management
- Preparing orders for embroidery and printing
- Learning and operating heat press equipment
- Learning and assisting with commercial embroidery machines
- Applying heat transfers, DTF and other garment finishes
- Quality checking finished products
- Labelling, sorting and organising completed orders
- Updating order statuses and assisting with order management
- Identifying issues with orders and communicating them to the production team
- Assisting with general warehouse and production duties - Helping prepare equipment, stock and products for events and activations
- Following production processes and quality-control procedures
We're looking for someone who:
- Is reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Has a strong attention to detail
- Is organised and able to manage multiple tasks
- Is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Has a positive attitude and is willing to learn
- Can follow instructions and production processes - Takes pride in producing quality work
- Is physically capable of warehouse duties, including lifting and moving cartons
- Has good communication skills
- Can work independently as well as part of a team - Is interested in learning new machinery and production skills
Experience
Experience is preferred but not essential. Experience in any of the following would be highly regarded:
- Warehouse operations
- Pick & pack
- Dispatch or logistics
- Garment printing
- Heat pressing
- Embroidery
- Apparel or fashion
- E-commerce fulfilment
- Stock management
- Production environments However, attitude and willingness to learn are more important than experience.
