What you'll be doing
- Provide direct care and support to individuals with varying disabilities.
- Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks.
- Support individuals in attending medical appointments, accessing community resources, social inclusion, and wellbeing activities.
- Monitor and document client progress and care provided.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, therapists, and other team members to ensure holistic care.
- Work alongside experienced colleagues to deliver positive behaviour support strategies with confidence.
You're the right person if...
- You have experience supporting people with disability, including those with complex support needs, or you're confident working in person-centred environments.
- You genuinely enjoy building positive relationships and helping people achieve their goals.
- You're calm, adaptable, and able to work confidently both independently and as part of a team.
- You communicate well, show professionalism, and understand the importance of respect and personal boundaries.
- You're committed to learning, growing your skills, and delivering high-quality, person-centred support.
- You have a valid unrestricted Driver’s licence, Reliable Vehicle and holding NDIS worker screening check or Willing to obtain prior to commencement.
