Carefinity is looking for dedicated Male and Female Disability Support Workers (DSWs) to support a participant in Landsborough, QLD.
About the Role
Location: Landsborough, QLD
Schedule: Tuesday to Friday (Weekly Ongoing)
Shift: 2:00 PM – 8:00 AM (Sleepover Shift)
Duties Include
- Supporting a participant with Autism
- Community access and social support
- Medication management
- Following a detailed daily support plan
- Providing safe, respectful, and person-centred care
- Using calm, patient, and positive support strategies to redirect behaviours and prevent escalation
Requirements
✅ Male or Female applicants welcome
✅ NDIS Worker Screening Check
✅ Working With Children Check (WWCC)
✅ Right to Work in Australia
✅ Current First Aid & CPR Certificates
✅ Relevant Qualifications in Disability, Aged Care, or Community Services
✅ Experience supporting participants with Autism
✅ Ability to remain calm, avoid forceful or abrupt approaches, and understand behaviours of concern before they escalate
✅ Experience with medication management
✅ Driver's Licence and reliable transport
Pay: $37.18 – $105.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
