As an Advisor, Community Road Safety, you will provide administrative and financial support that underpins key programs, with a focus on contract management, grant administration and financial oversight. Your work will ensure systems, reporting and processes are accurate, compliant and support effective program delivery.
You will work closely with team members and stakeholders to assist with expenditure tracking, reporting and payment processes, and contribute to day-to-day activities that keep programs running smoothly and aligned with departmental requirements.
Key Responsibilities
You will:
Monitor and analyse contract and grant expenditure to support reporting and decision making
Prepare reports, briefings and correspondence in line with departmental standards
Maintain systems to track budgets, contracts and performance
Ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments
Support audits, reconciliations and record keeping
Contribute to activities that deliver project outcomes within agreed timeframes
Requirements of the role
You will have:
Experience in contract management or financial administration, including reconciliation, reporting and record keeping
Experience working with financial or corporate systems (e.g. SAP or similar)
An understanding of procurement processes, or the ability to quickly build this knowledge
Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities
Well developed communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders
You will also demonstrate accountability, sound judgement and a commitment to high professional standards.
