Plumbing Bros West Coast is growing, and we're looking for an experienced Plumber & Gas Fitter who wants to join a business where good tradespeople are valued, supported and given the opportunity to progress.
We specialise in residential and property maintenance plumbing, working across a large and growing portfolio of properties throughout Perth.
This isn't a role where you'll be doing the same thing every day. You'll be trusted to attend jobs, diagnose problems properly, communicate with customers, recommend the right solution and take ownership of the job from start to finish.
We're looking for someone who takes pride in their trade and wants to be part of a professional, ambitious team.
What you'll be doing
Your work will include:
- Residential and property maintenance plumbing
- Hot water system diagnosis, repairs and replacements
- Gas servicing, fault finding and installations
- Burst pipes and water leaks
- Tap, toilet and fixture repairs and replacements
- Blocked drains and drainage works
- Leak detection and fault finding
- Plumbing and gas compliance works
- Preventative maintenance and safety inspections
- Identifying and communicating additional works required
- Providing clear job notes, photos and recommendations
- Communicating professionally with tenants, property managers and clients
You'll have the support of an operations team behind you so you can focus on delivering quality work and looking after the customer.
What we're looking for
We're not simply looking for someone who can turn up and complete a work order.
We want a tradesperson who:
- Is a qualified plumber with relevant WA licences
- Holds a Gas Fitting licence
- Has strong maintenance and fault-finding experience
- Takes ownership rather than passing problems on
- Can think independently and find solutions
- Produces work they're proud to put their name against
- Communicates well with customers and the office
- Understands the importance of photos, job notes and documentation
- Identifies legitimate additional work rather than ignoring problems
- Works efficiently without compromising quality
- Looks after their vehicle, equipment and workplace
- Wants to continue improving as a tradesperson
Experience in real estate/property maintenance will be highly regarded.
