Costas Seafood Cafe is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Short Order Cook to join our team. Initial training will be provided at our Capalaba store, with the successful applicant transitioning to our new Wynnum location once it opens.

Position
- Full-time or Part-time
- Initial training at Capalaba
- Permanent position based at Wynnum after opening
What You'll Do
- Prepare and cook a variety of seafood and café meals, including our signature fish and chips.
- Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation and consistency.
- Assist with the day-to-day operation of the kitchen to ensure efficient service.
- Work closely with the front and back of house teams.
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe work environment.
- Follow food safety and hygiene procedures at all times.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience as a short order cook or in a similar role.
- Experience preparing seafood is highly regarded.
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy, fast-paced kitchen.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable, punctual and well presented.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Commitment to cleanliness, food safety and quality.

Ability to Commute/Relocate
- Able to attend initial training at Capalaba, QLD
- Able to work permanently at our Wynnum, QLD location once the store opens.

Experience
- Cooking: Minimum 3 years preferred.
