Overview:
CSL Australia is currently looking for a permanent full time Deck Mechanic to join our vessel Osprey, on a roster schedule 6 weeks on and 6 weeks off. This vessel operates in Southen Australia and tansports limestone. Reporting to the Chief Engineer, Deck Mechanics are involved in the effective maintenance of machinery as directed by the Chief Engineer.

- Maintaining the vessel’s cargo equipment;

Adopting safe work practices

Undertaking any other tasks assigned by the Chief Engineer and/or Second Engineer, and any other cargo operation tasks as assigned by the Chief Engineer
The skills you will bring to our team:
Basic Requirements

Holding one of the following valid AMSA ticket:

Engine Watch Rating COP Unlimited
-
Certificate III in Maritime Operations – Integrated Rating

MSIC Card (required)

Current AMSA Medical (required)

Certificate of Safety Training (desirable)

Confined Space Certificate (desirable)

Working at Heights Certificate (desirable)

Australian Citizen or hold a valid Australian working visa without working restrictions
