We’re seeking a motivated, personable Sales Estimator/Project Manager with a natural flair for building strong client relationships, driving sales, and managing projects from concept to completion. This role offers the opportunity to work on some of Sydney and NSW’s most high-profile and impactful developments.
The right candidate will have a background in fencing, landscaping, or construction—or possess strong commercial acumen within the fencing and installation industry. You’ll be detail-oriented, customer-focused, and dedicated to delivering exceptional outcomes every time.

Key Responsibilities
- Assessing, measuring, and pricing new job opportunities both onsite and in-office
- Preparing and issuing quotations for residential, rural, and commercial clients
- Managing tender processes from start through to purchase order stage
- Converting enquiries and leads into successful projects
- Collaborating with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth delivery
- Monitoring industry trends and adjusting pricing to optimise profitability
- Using marketing tools and platforms to identify and pursue new clients and tender opportunities
- Preparing project drawings and client submissions
- Maintain an up-to-date database of labour and material costs for various fencing solutions.
- Follow up with clients to address inquiries and negotiate contract terms.
Skills & Qualifications
- Sales estimating experience (preferably within construction). We are open to Junior Estimators with a strong background in construction project management
- Proven fencing knowledge and experience would be advantageous
- Strong measurement skills, including dealing with rakes and angles
- Ability to interpret plans and complete tender documentation
- Clear, professional communication and interpersonal skills
- Exceptional organisational ability with a sharp eye for detail
- Analytical thinking with the ability to problem-solve
- Proficiency with general computer systems
- Strong negotiation and deal-closing skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple estimates and deadlines simultaneously.

Pay: $70,000.00 – $135,247.37 per year
