This isn’t your typical educator role — it’s hands-on, meaningful, and community-driven.
What you’ll be doing
- Deliver interactive 60-minute first aid sessions to primary school students
- Teach kids how to recognise emergencies and respond using DRSABCD
- Create a safe, engaging and age-appropriate learning environment
- Set up and pack down training equipment
- Represent St John with professionalism and pride in schools across Brisbane

You’re confident, engaging and love working with people — especially kids.
You’ll also bring:
- Ability to explain simple concepts in a fun and clear way
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Great organisation and reliability
- A positive, professional attitude and team mindset
- Commitment to safety, inclusion and child safeguarding
Requirements
- Current First Aid & CPR Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
- Current Blue Card (Working with Children)
- Criminal History Check
- Open Driver Licence (C Class)
