As our organisation continues to grow, we are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Physiotherapist to join our Melbourne team.
About the Role
This is a community-based role where no two days are the same.
You'll have the opportunity to work with participants across the lifespan, helping them achieve meaningful goals through tailored physiotherapy interventions.
You will provide services across:
- Participant homes
- Schools
- Childcare centres
- Community settings
- Residential aged care facilities
- Telehealth (where appropriate)
Treatment
- Communicate with referring physician and other health care professionals regarding
patients' problems, needs and progress and nurture external practice relationship.
- Maintain clinical and statistical records and confer with other health care
ProfessionaIs
- Develop and implement health promotion programs for patients, staff and the
Community and may provide consulting and education services.
- Provide evidence based treatment for optimal lifelong physical health.
- Establish treatment goals with patients based on physical diagnosis plan and implement programs including therapeutic exercise, manipulations, massage,education, the use of electro-therapeutic and other mechanical equipment.
- Evaluate effectiveness of treatment plans and modify accordingly. Provide advice on exercise and strategies to implement at home to enhance and or maintain

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive physiotherapy assessments
- Develop individualised treatment plans
- Deliver evidence-based therapy interventions
- Prescribe and review exercise programs
- Complete mobility and functional assessments
- Falls risk assessments
- Equipment recommendations
- Balance and gait retraining
- Hydrotherapy recommendations where appropriate
- Complete high-quality clinical documentation and reports
- Liaise with families, carers, schools, support coordinators, GPs and other healthcare professionals
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Participate in supervision and professional development activities

Essential Requirements
- Bachelor or Master of Physiotherapy
- Current AHPRA Registration
- Current National Police Check
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Working with Children Check
- Current Victorian Driver's Licence
- Reliable vehicle
- Professional Indemnity and Public Liability Insurance (if applicable)
