What you'll do
As the Administration Officer, you will provide high-quality administrative support to ensure the efficient operation of the work unit. You will assist with the administration of meetings, seminars, conferences, events, travel arrangements and appointments, while delivering timely support across financial, human resource and information management functions. Your responsibilities will include procurement, budgeting, asset management, accounts payable and receivable, maintaining establishment records, providing basic HR advice, and using business systems such as SAP/R3. You will contribute to continuous improvement by reviewing work practices and recommending enhancements to business processes, while maintaining effective records and information management systems. Working collaboratively with stakeholders, you will support the achievement of business objectives, undertake additional duties as required, and actively identify, manage and report risks associated with your work.
About you
We are searching for someone who has:
Knowledge of policies and practices relating to finance, human resources and records management.
Experience in the use of computers and software packages (eg. MS Office, electronic mail).
Ability to apply oral and written communication and interpersonal skills in an administrative support role.
Experience in solving problems and implementing solutions within a set timeframe.
Ability to work individually and in a team environment.
