We are currently seeking a compassionate, reliable, and experienced female Disability Support Worker (As per participant's request) to support in their home and community. The ideal candidate will be patient, respectful, and committed to providing care that promotes independence, dignity, and well being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with personal care, including hygiene and grooming
- Support with meal preparation and light household tasks
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Assist with community access such as appointments, shopping, and social activities
- Follow the participant’s care plan and provide consistent, respectful support
- Maintain clear communication with the participant and care team
About You:
- Experience in disability support or a similar role
- Compassionate, reliable, and patient approach
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and respectfully in a participant’s home
Requirements:
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Working With Children Check (if applicable)
- First Aid & CPR Certificate
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
- Current police check
