Event & Venue Coordinator (Full-Time)
We're looking for a highly organised, creative and people-focused Event & Venue Coordinator to oversee events and administration across Post Office Club Hotel and Antique Bar.
With six unique event spaces across both venues, no two days are the same. From intimate celebrations and corporate functions to weddings, live music and large-scale events, you'll be at the centre of creating memorable guest experiences.
About the Role
This is a full-time position combining event coordination, administration and marketing. You'll work closely with our venue teams to ensure every event runs seamlessly from enquiry through to execution.
While the role is primarily Monday to Friday, weekend work may be required to host larger events such as weddings and major functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage event enquiries from initial contact through to post-event follow-up.
- Conduct venue inspections and client meetings.
- Coordinate all event logistics and run sheets.
- Host and oversee functions, ensuring exceptional guest experiences.
- Manage bookings across six event spaces.
- Liaise with clients, suppliers and venue managers.
- Coordinate weddings, corporate events, birthdays and private celebrations.
- Develop and manage a calendar of in-house events and external activations.
- Coordinate weekly live music programming across both venues.
- Create EDM campaigns and maintain client databases.
- Design promotional posters, event collateral and social media content.
- Assist with marketing initiatives to grow event and venue bookings.
- Provide general administration support to the venues.
- Continuously look for new opportunities to improve the customer experience and increase event sales.

- Experienced with event planning, administration and marketing.
- Competent with Canva, InDesign, Microsoft Office and email marketing platforms.
- Flexible to work evenings or weekends when required for larger events.
