About the role
The role delivers high-quality oral health services to patients within Metro North Oral Health Services, providing routine through to increasingly complex care as part of a multidisciplinary team across various clinical settings. It also has a strong focus on coordinating and delivering oral health promotion, education, and engagement programs to eligible clients in both clinical and community environments.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
Deliver and coordinate quality oral health therapy clinical services and oral health promotion / education to eligible clients. This may include site visits to residential facilities in MNOHS, site visits to youth correctional services, providing care to special needs patients in collaboration with the Specialist in Special Needs Dentistry in the adult program as well as engagement site visits to vulnerable and priority communities within the community.
Work cooperatively and effectively within an oral health team, a multi-disciplinary team, and with patients / carers.
Actively participate in the identification, development and implementation of quality improvement activities for the delivery of oral health services to vulnerable communities that continually improves client care and enhance the delivery of oral health services (This may include but not limited to development of services to residential facilities, youth correctional services and site visits to vulnerable and priority communities within the community)
