We’re looking for a proactive and reliable Operations Assistant to join our team. This role combines hands-on order fulfilment with customer service, stock management and administration support — ideal for someone who enjoys variety in their day.
Key Responsibilities
Order Fulfilment
- Assist with preparing daily order paperwork and promotional items
- Pack and dispatch customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Ensure all orders are checked for quality and accuracy before shipping
- Dispatch orders in the online ordering system
- Manage packaging supplies and maintain a clean, organised workspace
Inventory & Warehouse
- Receive and check supplier deliveries
- Restock and maintain product shelving
- Conduct regular stock counts and report discrepancies
Customer Service & Admin
- Respond to customer enquiries via email, webchat and phone (order updates, returns, product questions)
- Assist customers instore with enquiries and pickup orders
- Process refunds, returns, exchanges and warranty claims
- Assist with basic reporting (sales, stock movement)
Marketing & Product Support
- Assist with website product updates as needed
- Support promotions and sales campaigns with content or admin tasks
General Operations
- Assist with ad-hoc administrative and operational tasks as needed
Skills & Experience
Essential:
- Previous experience in customer service, retail or e-commerce fulfilment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good computer skills (Microsoft Office, email, basic spreadsheets)
- Reliable, organised and able to manage tasks independently
Desirable (but trainable):
- Experience with e-commerce platforms
- Customer service background
