We’re looking for an experienced, fully qualified carpenter to join our team.
This role would suit someone who genuinely enjoys carpentry, takes pride in their work and likes the variety and challenge that comes with renovations, maintenance and problem-solving.
We’re not looking for someone who simply turns up and waits to be told what to do. We are after a carpenter who can look at a job, think ahead, identify what needs to happen next and help keep the job moving.
About the role
You’ll be working across a variety of carpentry, renovation and maintenance projects. No two days are the same, so being adaptable and enjoying a challenge is important.
Depending on the job, you may be working independently, alongside other trades or taking responsibility for leading apprentices and other team members on site.
We’re looking for someone who:
- Is a fully qualified carpenter with solid practical experience
- Has their own reliable ute
- Has their own tools
- Has a current Australian driver's licence
- Can confidently work independently and make sensible decisions on site
- Has the ability to lead, guide and work alongside apprentices and other team members
- Shows initiative and doesn't need to be constantly directed
- Thinks ahead and can organise the next stages of a job
- Has strong problem-solving skills and enjoys figuring out challenging jobs
- Takes pride in producing quality work rather than simply getting the job finished
- Communicates well with clients, other trades and the rest of the team
- Has a positive attitude and genuinely enjoys the trade
Experience across all types of residential and commercial carpentry would be highly regarded.
